Ending year 2022, we are so happy to complete 2 more training courses for nurses about Palliative Care. These are class 11 and 12 of this program.
Class 11 was done for 35 nurses in medical centers in Ben Tre province. Many new knowledge and skills were presented to them that will be meaningful in providing care for patients in rural areas. This class received very strong motivation and support from the Management of Health Service Department of Ben Tre province.
Class 12 was done for 35 nurses in Can Tho General Hospital for the level-1 hospital in Can Tho with nearly 1,000 beds including many specialty wards. This class sent over 10 head nurses from many wards in the hospital with the purpose that this team would continue to do "on-the-job" training for their nurses.
This program brought successful results to the nurses, a key force in patient care.
We are looking forward to the new year 2023 with more courses conducted to different provinces and universities.
