2022 Palliative Care Training for Nurses (6th Class)
MEET-Project Palliative Care team is so happy to report that the first Palliative Care Training for Nurses took place in Cantho Oncology Hospital (COTH) from 9 May to 17 May.
This training session had 44 participants, including nurses of CTOH, of Cai Rang Medical Center, Tam Nong Medical Center and Lecturers from CTUMP-Nursing Faculty.
This is the 6th course and we were so happy to receive great feedback from participants about the content. The learning activities were very flexible with theory and clinical practice, group discussion and team work. One of the new things in this course was the Palliative Care Tree with the leaf and fruit written on with what the participants like most and learn from the course. The sharing of designing a leaflet to educate caregivers or patients of some concerns were very helpful (i.e: breast cancer patient after surgery, or how to prevent and care for pressure ulcers...)
